Teixeira Family
The project brings together two digital products created to celebrate and preserve the history and legacy of the Teixeira family. The first is the family website, dedicated to its members and featuring aspects of the lives and careers of each of Oswaldo Teixeira’s children and some of his grandchildren. The second is the Teixeira Encyclopedia, an online system designed to catalogue, organize, and preserve the family’s art collection.
Both products are directly connected to Oswaldo’s own history. His work extended beyond painting to encompass teaching, art criticism, cultural management, and the development of institutions of great importance to the arts in Brazil, such as the National Museum of Fine Arts.
Teixeira Family Website
The visual identity and design system incorporate fragments of the family’s artwork, including brushstrokes, photographs, and various forms of artistic expression. The color palette was inspired by photographs of my father’s and my uncles’ studios.

UI Design

The Encyclopedia’s web-based system allows users to personalize the main screen’s background, customize information cards—in terms of both size and theme—and adjust the grid layout. Users can also enable notifications, add artworks, and view them in different formats, such as a timeline, a relational matrix, and an immersive gallery.
